We order our beans from local roasters and grind them fresh for every coffee we make. Each day, we have a light and a dark roast ready to go until 2 PM, or we can brew up any available roast in a personal French press for one, two, or a group of four.

Brass Ring Coffee

-Kenya Giakanja AA – Washed Process
From Wonderstate Roasters, this bright light roast has tart tones of starfruit and golden currants, followed by dense savoriness of sungold tomatoes, all enveloped within a syrupy caramel-like sweetness. Burundi is an Organic and Single-origin roast.
-Costa Rica Rica Finca La Guaca Natural
Roasted by Brass Ring Coffee, this roast has notes of strawberry and cotton candy. On the lighter end of our roasts, it does have a well-rounded body.
Natural process coffee is often referred to as the more traditional method. This is the way coffee was processed long before machines came into play and often to aid farmers when access to clean water wasn’t readily available. Once the cherries are picked, they are then placed in water to float. After this, each cherry is carefully inspected so that under-ripe and overripe fruits can be removed. Coffee is then placed on raised beds, known as patios. These beds are used to allow air to flow around the entire fruit and help offer a more even drying process.
-Mexico Chiapas
This medium roast from Capanna is a local favorite. Its apple-winey flavor is balanced by the bold taste of milk chocolate and peanut. Single-origin & organic.
-Driftless Morning
From Wonderstate, this cozy and balanced medium roast has notes of plum, toffee & cocoa powder with a graham cracker finish. Organic, mellow blend. A nod to the Driftless Region Wonderstate calls home, this bestselling blend is their tried & true.
-Peru
Roasted by Cafe Del Sol, this velvety dark roast sits on the edge of medium. Organic and fairly traded.
-Turkish Blend
Cafe Del Sol created this bold blend of dark roasted beans that has a strong, smoky flavor. Organic and fairly traded.
-Sumatra Mandheling
While this coffee sits at the bottom of our list, Capanna brings out the earthy tones in this full-bodied, yet less intense dark roast.
-Decaf Guatemala
A medium-bodied decaf roast by Capanna. Organic and Single-origin.
