Press Coffee Partial Reopening Updates

Press Coffee Partial Reopening Updates

After two months of curbside pick up, shortened hours, and the weariness of an uncertain future, the world is attempting to head back towards normalcy. Effective Friday morning, Kim Reynolds proclaimed Wednesday that some businesses could reopen at a limited capacity. With your cooperation and patience, we open our doors a little wider this Friday but encourage you to take necessary precautions to prevent further spread of the Coronavirus. Read on to see what “reopening” will look like at Press Coffee.

With the weather warming and school ending, we understand that people are itching with cabin fever to get out of their houses. After some re-organizing and plenty of sanitizing, we will be opening the cafe to 50% with heightened cleaning practices and altered procedures to provide a safe and clean space for you to fuel up with your favorite brew. Our hours will remain limited, but keep checking back as things continue to evolve. Sign up for our Pressing Newsletter and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

In hopes that our community doesn’t experience another wave of infection, please continue to practice preventative measures as recommended by the CDC. If you are part of the vulnerable population that is at high risk for COVID-19, we ask that you continue to keep your distance for your own safety. You can still pre-order and pay through the Jump Coffee app with entryway pick up to keep contact to a minimum, or consider loading up a house account. You can always call ahead and pre-pay over the phone as well.

If you do plan on coming inside the shop, we ask that you keep your stay to an hour or less. With capacity limitations, we can only have ten people indoors at a time, and groups should be no larger than six people. However, the patio is set up and makes a great place to enjoy a coffee, sit with a pup, or just soak up some sun. We have plenty of hand sanitizer stationed around the shop along with antibacterial wipes and a bathroom to wash your hands.

Please reserve spots upfront for curbside pickup and quick visits only.

As you know, Press isn’t a big space so if you order at the register, please try to follow signs and arrows to prevent congestion and keep the flow moving in one direction. The only self-service items available will be wrapped and all drinks will be made to go in order to prevent extra interaction between staff and guests. We also ask that you take any recyclables with you and while we won’t have cups out for self-serve water, we can provide some as requested. With the world getting busy again, that also means more cars in the parking lot. Take note of the spots out front that are designated for quick in and out service or to pick up Jump app orders.

It’s understandable that everyone just wants to get back to normal, but for the health of ourselves and the community, we must resume slowly and safely. We thank you for your continued support and patience as we work through this all together. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to give us a call or shoot us an e-mail. Stay safe and see you soon.
